You can measure your foot size with the pedimeter. Download the pedimeter

If you don't have a printer at home, take a blank sheet of paper and place it on the floor with one edge against a wall. Stand barefoot, back to the wall, and place your dominant foot flat on the sheet; your heel should touch the wall without being compressed. Ask someone to help you draw a line across at your longest toe. Then, using a ruler, measure the line from heel to toe. Once your know the length, feel free to round up to the nearest millimetre and refer to the table to find the nearest size.

My returns and refunds 7

Once you have stuck the return slip to the package, you can drop off your package at the post office.

If you return your order in full, we will reimburse you for any shipping costs incurred. However, if you return only a portion of the products (for example, one product returned out of two ordered), the delivery costs will not be refunded.

You can return your order free of charge; we will pay the return shipping costs. To find out how to return the order, go to the section below. If you want to exchange again or get a refund on your exchange order, the cost of returning the package is your responsibility.

You normally have 14 days from the date you receive your parcel to return the item(s) you want to send back to us. This time limit may be extended at certain periods

We will refund you within 14 days of receiving your return package. Your refund will be paid to the credit/debit card or Paypal account you used for the original purchase.

Our customer service team does everything it can to make the process of returning products as easy as possible, and downloading the return label takes seconds.

To return your order (whether it consists of one or multiple products), first log into your account and click "orders". Next, simply click the "return or exchange a product" button and fill out the form. When exchanging an item, the only sizes displayed are those that are currently available. Please select your chosen size from these.  Before confirming your request, please ensure that all the information is correct (i.e. exchange or refund, product, quantities, etc.). No changes can be made to the request once it has been confirmed.

Once the form has been confirmed, download your return label and stick it on the box containing the product(s) to be returned. Once the box is properly sealed and ready to send, take it to your collection point (a post office or drop-off point).

You have one month from the time the label is issued to return your parcel. Once this date is passed, we will cancel the return request, and the availability of your chosen replacement item will no longer be guaranteed.

To return a product, it must be in perfect condition, not have been worn and must have its original packaging. You will only be sent one return label, so please ensure you have a box large enough to contain all the items you are returning.

If a particular size does not fit, we invite you to contact us via your personal space, under the heading 'Returns and exchanges' (see heading below to find out how to return your order).

Important: Size exchanges are only possible between products with the same reference. If the size is no longer available, we will refund your money.

If you want a different model from the one you received, you will have to return the product and ask for a refund, then reorder on our website.

Looking after your Blackfox products 3

Synthetic rubbers (EVA or SEBS) require little maintenance; a wash with plain water and soap, if necessary, is sufficient. However, we do not recommend leaving your garden boots near a source of heat (fireplace, veranda, direct and prolonged sunlight), as this could alter the product.

PVC boots are easy to maintain, as soapy water is all that is needed to clean them. Avoid storing your garden boots near a source of heat (heating, fireplace, veranda, direct and prolonged sunlight) to avoid altering the product.

Made partly from latex, a natural material, you should maintain your rubber garden boots about once a quarter by applying a silicone spray. After each use, it is best to store your pair of rubber boots upright, in a dry place out of the sun, ideally turning them upside down so that dust and dirt do not fall in. Do not leave your rubber boots near a heat source such as a heater, on a veranda or in direct sunlight.

Choose your Blackfox products 10

This depends on the intended use and the degree of comfort you are looking for. Do you want to slip them on quickly to get from your house to your garden and back? Clogs will be the most suitable. There are garden clogs with a completely open heel and clogs with a slight edge; it's a matter of preference! On the other hand, if you want your foot to be well-supported for more extended wear, for example, opt for garden shoes. EVA shoes offer more lightness and rubber shoes more flexibility, so the product material will guide your choice. In terms of footwear, when you will use it is important. Some shoes have a neoprene lining that keeps your feet warm while you are gardening.

You can wear your rubber boots or your PVC boots to go out in the snow, but for walking in the snow specific shoes in synthetic rubber are a better choice (the SEBS grips well on snowy ground). If you will be wearing your boots in the garden, chose those that are neoprene or imitation fur-lined. Another option is to wear a sock (usually fleece) in your standard, unlined boots.

Children's boots nowadays are fun, colourful and playful! Choose a model that your child also likes; it will make putting the boots on easier! With themes involving tractors, adventurers and sailors, there is something for everyone! If you are looking for flexibility, choose rubber boots. If lightness is the main criterion, synthetic rubber boots are ideal for your child. Size-wise, even though children's feet grow quickly, never take a size that is too big, as your child's foot could slip out of the boot. You can see you have the correct size when your child's heel is slightly loose.

Most natural rubber boots are also very suitable for this type of use, but there are now alternatives: synthetic rubber boots based on EVA or SEBS. These rubber garden boots have the distinction of being very light. Less flexible than natural rubber, EVA is nevertheless suitable for occasional gardening and occasional walks.

If you garden quite frequently, it is advisable to choose boots made from predominantly natural rubber. Made in part from latex (a natural material derived from plants like the Hevea or "latex tree"), rubber boots provide softness and flexibility. They allow you to garden and walk around comfortably for prolonged periods. Highly resistant to abrasion and tearing, PVC boots are more rigid than natural rubber.

While the size is obviously important for comfort in your garden boots, the space you have between the boot and your calf is also essential. So consider your calf size when choosing a suitable garden boot. Also, think about how you want to wear your boots - trousers tucked in or not? Depending on the size of your calf, choose between boot or half-boot models. Some boots have gussets and buckles that allow you to adjust your boot to suit your calf size and the space you want to leave. Remember also that rubber boots are softer and more flexible than other materials and, therefore, better suited to different calf sizes.

Boots and shoes/boots designed especially for cold weather are sold in garden centres and DIY stores. With synthetic fur, fleece, or neoprene, they provide excellent warmth and comfort in winter. Neoprene, also used for wetsuits, is an isothermal material that keeps a constant temperature. So you won't need to put socks in your boots anymore!

This gardening activity requires special equipment. It is advisable to choose shoes or boots made of PVC or rubber, with a reinforcement in the sole. This element reinforces the shoe at the point of contact with the spade and will make digging easier.

Aesthetics is the first factor that will influence your choice. Nowadays, garden boots come in more on-trend colours and patterns. So you can choose between more fashionable or more classic boots. The activities you undertake, the frequency and the weather will also determine your choice. Indeed, if the weather is rainy and the soil is wet, garden boots will be more appropriate to cover the lower leg, especially when you are planting, or mowing the lawn in early spring and late autumn. Easier to put on and lighter, boots/shoes are easy to put on and take off; they are ideal in dry weather when you have to dig, weed or prune, for example. Booties are also more practical if you have to go back and forth between indoors and outdoors. Ideally, get a pair of boots plus a pair of booties, which will allow you to be comfortable whatever the season and whatever you are doing.

Choose your pair of boots according to the use you wish to make of them (gardening, walking, etc.). It is also important to choose boots according to the qualities you are looking for: a light boot, a flexible boot, a warm boot ... Choose the boots that work best for the activities you are undertaking.
